Konbanwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! I've been SOOOO busy getting ready for NDK! XD I finished making our Art Table poster last night. I did most of my packing tonight along with Mum dying my hair. (It looks fantastic, it's almost all white with little streaks of yellow! =^^=) Tomorrow it's doing my nails and applying the last layer of self tanner. Bunny (shareecedesiree) and myself will be leaving early Thursday morning to Denver!

I wanted to finish writing the next chapter of "Like Blood to Water," but time was not on my side. (Nor was my job!) However, I wrote this little 2U ficlet in like ten minutes. I hope everyone enjoys, I wanted something happy for everyone to read! Ja ne for now! =~.^=V

Yunho likes to think of himself as the black keys on a piano. Somehow a little out of place but fitting perfectly among all the lovely whites. Often necessary to the overall sound of the song, but can be skipped from time to time.

But Yoochun, Yoochun was definitely the ivory keys. The main source of music. Sure, the black keys accented what their white counterparts performed but one could play a whole song without using any of the black keys.

Yoochun had the grace and sweetness of a perfectly placed "A" note lilting from the piano's strings. He had the soft, deep voice that resonated a solid "D" in the lower key line. His tears were precious and tinkling, matched only by a struck "G" that could cause the eyes to moisten.

Yoochun was a melody made of nothing but ivory keys. Each welcoming hug, each bright laugh and each heartbreaking sob an arpeggio unmatched to any other. Yoochun was the example of perfect scales, syncopated and familiar.

Yunho was grateful he had the honor of being the black keys to Yoochun's profound ivories. An "A-flat" of strength to match his grace. A "D-minor" to harmonize with his voice. A "G-sharp" of sympathy for his times of trial.

When Yunho had the great joy of being with Yoochun, then the melody was complete. Then everything fell into place as two friends became perhaps a little bit more.

That was when the Ivories were the most perfect because they had their counterpart, the Keys of Black.
