Transitions and Upcoming Projects... =^^=

Konbanwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! It's been a pretty busy day today and it's going to get a lot more hectic for the next couple days. By Wednesday though, after everything is finished on Tuesday, the extended family will return to their destinations and I'll return back to work on Thursday morning. It will be actually good to get back in the working mode once again.

We're also in the midst of beginning the transition between homes. My 'rents are moving over to my grandfather's new house next door. I will take over their old house and start paying for the utilities, water, etc. I've been paying rent for a long time to live there, but when Mum started figuring out the amounts for all the bills along with my current bills, she said it added up to the same amount I'm already paying. Aka, I pay for the house maintenance and that will qualify as my rent. Anything that breaks down, I'll take care of and fix.

Because of that, I will begin living in a three bedroom house alone. It's a little strange since I haven't lived alone in so many years because of my medical situations. But my 'rents are next door if I really get sick and need help again, so that's also very comforting.

So basically it's going to be a few months of me tailoring all the rooms to my needs and design choices. It'll be fun to shop for new interior goods and furniture pieces as well as get to move some of my things from my old apartment inside. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Hopefully when it's "completed," I'll have a little Open House for all my friends to come and see.

Other upcoming projects include working on all the stuff that I'll be selling at the "Deco Dreams" table at SoDak Con next year. I also plan to start sewing again, though I'm not sure quite what yet.

I want to get back to writing, but unfortunately "Second Sight" has hit the same blocking point that "Like Blood to Water" ran into. All the steam has fled out of my creative mind. I pretty much have the sequel to "White" finished in my head but have not had time to even jot the ideas down and construct a solid plot. Also, NaNoWrimo is coming up in November and I'm considering competing again, which will chew up a significant amount of time. For my faithful readers, I thank you so much for standing by me, I love you all!

Once again, thanks to everyone here at LJ. I appreciate all the support you've shown me. I look forward to many more happy times with everyone and I will hopefully be back to my writing self soon!

Ja ne for now! =~.^=V

Thank you so much, March!

I do have three bedrooms but my house is all on one level, thankfully, so no steps accept from the front porch. I also have a kitchen, bath, a living room, a pantry/shanty and a den.

I will post pictures as rooms get finished and I know some time soon we'll get to see each other despite that sea being between us!
