FIC: Impasse (Chapter Thirteen)

Konbanwa, minnasan! I hope everyone out there in Cyberland is doing well! It was a really, REALLY busy day at work for me. For some of you who watched the National News, my section of South Dakota was featured for the freak snowstorm we had today. Hai, May 2nd and we're in about four feet of snow in my yard. Needless to say, I ran the store almost on my own up front until 1 p.m. today. (I started work at 4:30 a.m. and had been up previously starting at midnight.) My feet hurt and my back is sore, but in least I feel like I earned my pay! ::laughs::

I apologize to all my on-line friends for not being around. I'm coming home so exhausted I can hardly think. I didn't even get any of my planned sewing done. So my Super Junior T jacket patterns are still uncut and I haven't tackled my traditional Korean vest yet. But I will soon!

Now for what many of you have been reading my journal and so sweetly commenting on! I have the new chapter of "Impasse," and I'm starting to link storylines more and beginning to tie up loose ends. For those of you who are ShinChul and YeTeuk fans, this should be a really pleasing chapter I hope! Thanks and enjoy! I'm off to bed! =^^=V Ja ne for now!

A man stood in front of Junsu's parking garage. He watched as a black car drew up from it's previous destination and pulled up over the ramp. The driver brought the vehicle to a slow halt and then climbed out. He was getting ready to take out some errand bags when he was struck by a smooth blow from behind. His tailored hat tumbled from his head and landed silently on the ground. The driver had little time to react other than to sway back and forth briefly before collapsing onto the pavement. The man looked at the fallen employee mildly before pulling at his jacket. It took a bit of manuevering, but he finally managed to get the driver's arms out of the sleeves.

The jacket was a slightly tight fit. His arms looked a touch too long for the sleeves, but the car was dim and no one would be really paying attention. Pausing a moment, he pulled a black ski mask over his face. He then took the little bit of fallen hair and tucked it up underneath the hat. The keys the driver had been holding had fallen a distance away. The man walked over and retrieved them. He thought briefly about exterminating the driver. However, he opted to let the man live. After all, he had no real issue with him and the driver didn't know who he was.

The man slipped through the driver's side and then started the car. The vehicle hummed to life. He took a moment to pop out his phone and dialed a number. There was a series of rings before he was transferred to voice mail.

"This is Minwoo. If you have this number, there must be a reason. Leave it."

"I'm on my way." the man stated into the mouthpiece. "But first I need to gather a few 'incentives' to encourage the target to come."

The man then clicked off the phone. He turned the car out of the garage, leaving the original driver still unconcious on the ground.

Shindong frowned as he looked at his cell phone. He was just getting ready to pack up his bags for another "business" endeavor in England when he saw a number of missed calls along with five unanswered text messages. All were from Donghae yesterday.

"Didn't Eeteuk end up picking him up?" he thought absently.

Shindong shuffled through each text seeing that Donghae was becoming more distressed. He inwardly cursed at himself for having forgotten to turn on his phone once again. Taking a moment, Shindong texted Donghae's cell phone, just verifying that the young man had gotten home safely.

"Shindong?" came a soft voice from the next room over.

"Yes, Heechul?"

The red haired man poked his head through the door. He was wearing his long tresses down for once, the strands spilling over the white oversized sweater he was wearing. Shindong raised an eyebrow mildly, a smile playing over the corner of his lips at the pout that was gracing his partner's face.

"I don't want you to go."

"It will only be for a few days. You should be used to me making these trips by now."

"That was before Donghae tried to be a super hero."

The smaller, slender man sighed and walked over. He wrapped his arms around Shindong's neck and hugged him tightly.

"I just don't want something like that to happen to you. Especially when I can't be there." Heechul finally confessed.

The heavier set man smiled gently and rubbed his companion's back. He leaned back and brought their lips together in a very affectionate kiss.

"I'm a diamond smuggler, Chulieah, I should be okay. You know that I always have necessary precautions on me."

Though the words were true, it obviously didn't ease the tension in Heechul. The dark haired man sighed softly and then pushed his hand through his very short hair. He shook his head and laughed ruefully.

"Would you be happy if I pushed this transaction back a couple more days?"

The beaming expression on Heechul's face was Shindong's answer. He chuckled in spite of himself.

"I will take that as a 'yes' from you then."

Heechul was more than happy as he hugged Shindong tightly. The man pressed a kiss to his partner's slender neck and drew back.

"I had better start setting up arrangements. I will have to be doing some sweet talking on this particular situation."

"Just tell them that I was horribly sick." Heechul stated.

Shindong smirked and opened up his cell phone.

"Heechul, did you check your phone by any chance?"

"Not today. Did you forget to turn it on again?"

"Yes, and there was a number of messages from Donghae. I don't know if Eeteuk picked him up or not."

Heechul frowned.

"Well, if I am right about their conversation, it probably didn't end very well."

"Still, our Eeteuk would hardly be one to leave Donghae alone in the hospital, even if he was angry. He's just too responsible for something like that."

The red head nodded in agreement.

"Did you text Donghae back today?"

"I just did. However, we haven't heard from Eeteuk today either. Can you give him a call? I'll start taking care of business on my end with the English investors."

Heechul nodded before stealing another kiss from Shindong. The elegant man slipped out the door and then down the stairs. He had remembered leaving his phone sitting on the dining room table. As he approached the main room, Heechul heard a soft knocking on the door. He raised an eyebrow. The only people who visited them in the morning was Eeteuk, usually with a half awake Donghae in tow.

"Maybe this will save me time and I don't have to call." Heechul mused.

The red haired man approached the door and peered through the peephole. The man standing on the steps was wearing a uniform, getting soaked in the rain. Heechul recognized the hat as one of Junsu's drivers.

"Shindong?" Heechul shouted up the stairs.

"Yes?" the man shouted back down.

"There's a driver from Junsu's house out here! Was there something we were supposed to go to this morning?"

"No, I don't think so!"

Heechul turned his attention back to the peephole. To his surprise, the mysterious driver seemed to have disappeared. He carefully unlocked the main lock and opened the doorway partially. The intruder chain allowed for only a minimal view of outside stairs. Everything seemed quiet and normal. Heechul shrugged slightly, wondering if he was imagining things. He was beginning to close the door when a hand jutted forward suddenly. The small man yelled as foreign fingers grabbed the chain and easily snapped it with one pull.

Shindong heard the yelling and quickly dropped his phone. He ran out of the room and stopped briefly at the top of the stairs. Heechul was backing away from a man dressed in one of Junsu's driver's outfits.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Shindong demanded.

The heavier set man moved down the stairs with an unseen amount of speed and put himself between Heechul and the intruder.

"Get the hell out of my house!" the dark haired man demanded.

The brim of the hat pulled forward made it almost impossible to make out his features. He kept his head held low as he continued to approach the two men. Shindong moved his head slightly and could only make out a sliver of what appeared to be a mask covering the other's face.

"I said GET OUT!" Shindong screamed.

He threw a hard punch. The fist was easily intercepted by the man. Shindong felt his knuckles pop as pressure was applied in a nearly excruciating degree. Heechul growled and then spun around with a roundhouse kick. The man's other free hand caught the leg mid swing and simply used Heechul's momentum against him. With practiced speed he threw the smaller man across the floor. Heechul bounced once and then gasped for air. He looked down and gritted his teeth, his ankle throbbing in pain.

The man continued to apply pressure on Shindong's fist even as he struck out with his free one. The other hand impacted with the side of the man's face. The collision of knuckles to cheek was fierce and the hat was tipped sideways. The man quickly dropped his head, seeming more concerned about keeping his mask on versus the pain that was creeping through his jaw. Shindong tried to concentrate on the person, but the cloth covering his face did little to help. The intruder popped his neck twice before suddenly lunging forward with a hard punch into Shindong's stomach.

The heavier set man swore he saw stars as all the air exhaled out of his lungs. He tried to catch his breath. His knees gave way as he clutched at his torso. Heechul screamed and forced himself upright. He limped rapidly over to his fallen partner, collapsing beside him.

"What do you want?!" Heechul demanded.

The man hidden behind the brim of the hat simply reached into his coat pocket and retrieved a piece of paper. Heechul eyed the paper warily but finally took it. On the whiteness was scribbled three different names.

"Why do you want them? I don't even know one of these on here!"

The man simply grabbed Heechul by the collar of his sweater. Shindong tried to hold on, but the other proved much stronger. Heechul fought and kicked the best he could as the man hauled him into the dining room. He then threw the smaller man on the floor. Heechul growled as the stranger found the other's cell phone and then tossed it to him.

"What the hell do you want me to do?" Heechul hissed.

The intruder made a circle shape with his finger, indicating a "dial" motion. The smaller man glowered angrily and started to press the buttons. He waited nervously as the phone took him directly to voice mail.

"There's no answer." he stated.

The man then made a series of button pushing motions, the brim of his hat keeping his mask shadowed.

"You want me to leave a text. What do you want me to say?!"

The man turned over the white piece of paper that was still in Heechul's hand. A couple sentences were scribbled on the back.

Heechul looked as though he was ready to spit acid on the stranger. He began to rapidly push buttons and the message was sent.

The man gestured for Heechul to do the same process again with another of the names on the list.

"He's been hurt! Leave him alone!"

Again, the man gestured for Heechul to leave a text.

The infuriated red head pressed the series of numbers needed to leave the message. He eyed the stranger warily as he set down his phone on the floor.

"Done. Will you leave now?"

The man backed away to feel something cold placed just against the back of his head. He smirked underneath the brim of his hat. The barrel shape was distinctive and sent a shiver of near anticipation down his spine.

"Get the hell out or I will blow your brains across this room." Shindong commanded from behind him.

The man raised his hands up in the air and carefully folded them behind his head. He kept his head lowered as Shindong guided him toward the doorway. The gun tickled the back of the intruder's neck, the hairs falling out of the mask tangling slightly around the metal.

The two men reached the door, Heechul a few feet behind him. The man stepped through the opening and then suddenly his arms moved. Before Shindong had enough time to pull the trigger, the man spun and grabbed the gun. The weapon was quickly removed from the larger man's grasp and within that moment, a shot was fired off. Shindong's eyes went wide and he collapsed on the ground.

"SHINDONG!!" Heechul screamed.

The dark haired man clutched at his left foot. The shoe was quickly darkening with maroon as the blood spewed up through the small hole. The man simply grinned beneath his hat. He had no real need to kill either of them, but in least this would give him enough time to make his escape. He spun the gun in between his fingers and then slipped out the door.

Heechul ran to the next room, quickly dialing 911. His thoughts were so focused on Shindong that he never thought about the text messages sent to two of the three people on the list.

Eeteuk sighed softly as he heard another crack of thunder. It seemed Seoul was in for one of the wettest weeks they had ever had. The sound made the man shake his head. He didn't know how everything had turned so backwards in just a few days.

He had lost Donghae and had been reunited with Jongwoon. Even if the man went by Yesung now. It all seemed still very surrealistic to him.

Eeteuk wasn't sure how long he had been still sitting in the same spot. Yesung had placed a blanket around his shoulder and had sung to him for a while after Eeteuk had complained about his humming. His old partner was currently standing in the little kitchenette mixing up some eggs and rice together. It almost felt home like and a little more familiar than Eeteuk wanted to admit.

He almost hated himself for missing Yesung. The two had been together for so long until Yesung's reputation as a hired hitman got them both in too hot of water. They had finally parted ways and the two resumed different identies and lifestyles. As if the dark haired man could read his thoughts, Yesung spoke quietly from the counter he was working on.

"You ever miss it, Jungsu?"

"Eeteuk." the older man corrected. "Why would I miss doing that?"

"The thrill of the hunt?"

"I was never made for doing your job."

"You were damn good at it though."

Eeteuk frowned inwardly. The fact that he excelled at doing hits had made him very uncomfortable. Unlike Yesung, Eeteuk had learned at an early age he had a guilt complex. His desire to take care of others often overrode his need to destroy them. He shook his head and sighed softly again.

"I was thinking about quitting."

The words came out of nowhere and caught Eeteuk by surprise. He blinked and looked over at the smaller, younger man. Yesung was spooning the rice and egg mixture into two small bowls.

"Quitting?" Eeteuk had to repeat just to make sure he had heard right.

Yesung nodded as he walked over with the food. He offered one to Eeteuk. The older man took it gratefully, remembering that Yesung was a relatively decent cook.

"After this last one, I think I'm pretty much on my ex-employer's 'Dead End' list. Screwing up once is one thing, twice is a whole different ball game."

"What will you do?" Eeteuk couldn't help but question.

"I don't know. Thought maybe I'd go to Australia, see what they have down there. Must be more than koalas and kangaroos. Get a real job or something."

"You could never hold a real job."

"I could try." Yesung said softly.

Eeteuk tilted his head slightly as he ate a little of the food. It tasted very good despite the simple ingredients. He half smiled as he spoke.

"Maybe you could open a coffee shop."

Yesung shrugged a little at the suggestion but seemed to be mulling it over.

"I'd need someone to help me who understood money. I was never very good at that."

The underlying suggestion didn't escape Eeteuk. The older man pulled on his little ponyknob, a kind of nervous habit, and then fingered the edge of the bowl.

"It would have to be legal money. Not the other kind."

"Not the kind you're used to making?" Yesung questioned mildly.

Eeteuk nodded slightly. The gears were turning in his head. Hankyung could take care of Donghae, even if it inwardly hurt Eeteuk. Junsu and his group, though good friends, wouldn't miss him too much if he left. The only two who might object were Shindong and Heechul.

"Maybe we could try it again, Jungsu?" Yesung added, purposely using Eeteuk's real name.

Eeteuk opened up his mouth to answer when the buzzer to his phone went off. He picked it up and then smiled slightly. It was a text message from Heechul. He read it and then raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?"

"A text message from a friend of mine. He said he needs to meet with me about Donghae."

"Something happen to your friend?"

"I... I don't know." Eeteuk said guiltily.

Yesung ate a few more bites of food before setting down his bowl. He took the half eaten food from Eeteuk's lap and set it off to the side.

"Did he leave an address?"

"So let's go."

"You're going with me?"

"Sure. You got away from me once, Park Jungsu. You're not going to do it again." Yesung responded.

Eeteuk felt a smile form just slightly on his lips. He nodded and the two stood, grabbing their jackets and heading down the stairs. The rain was coming down in near blinding force.

Kibum smiled warmly at Donghae. The young man was sipping a little chicken soup the hospital had given him out of a thing paper cup. The duo were sitting in the waiting room down from Ryeowook's room. The small, younger man had asked permission to speak privately with Hankyung. Deep down, it had made Donghae really nervous.

"He likes you." Kibum suddenly said.

"What?" Donghae looked up from his cup.

"Ryeowook, he likes you."

"But he just met me."

"That's the thing about Wookieah. He instinctively knows if you're a good or bad person. Always had that knack, I guess."

Donghae nodded slightly. He bit his lip before speaking softly to Kibum.

"Is... Is he dying, Kibum?"

The dark haired man nodded and barely smiled. He shook his head once and let out a dry, forced laugh.

"The doctors still never quite figured out what was wrong with him. The closest they could relate the symptoms to was emphysema in smokers. But that's not even quite right. Each day it just gets a little harder for him to breathe. Like he's slowly suffocating and there's nothing he can do about it."

Donghae saw the single tear slide down Kibum's otherwise quiet looking face. He reached out and wiped it away gently. The man looked mildly embarassed by his display of emotion.

"You must really love him." Donghae stated.

The other man gave a short nod.

"The moment I met him, a week before Siwon's death, I was in love. Felt like someone had set a fire to me and I didn't want it put out. Sounds poetic and mushy now, but that's how it was."

Donghae sipped a little more of the weak chicken broth. He turned to see that Kibum was gazing at him curiously.

"What?" the brunette questioned.

"You must be something else to have broken through the Dancer's wall, Donghae. You were different than all the rest. Just like Siwon was."

"I'm not Siwon."

"I know." the man said softly.

"So how am I ever going to make Hankyung truly happy?"

The pain in Donghae's eyes was evident. Kibum slid over and put an arm around the slightly taller man's shoulders. He did his best to give a reassuring squeeze.

"Because Siwon was Siwon and Donghae is Donghae. You are two different people. Siwon was part of Hangeng. You are part of Hankyung."

Somehow that simple explanation was all Donghae needed. He gave Kibum a grateful look.

The sound of Donghae's chime on his phone caught his attention. He reached into his pocket and drew it out. There were two text messages. The first was from Shindong asking if he got home all right.

"Shindong must have forgotten to turn on his cell phone again." Donghae mused to Kibum.

The next message came from Heechul. Donghae smiled briefly before his eyebrows knitted together. His face went very somber.

"What is it, Hae?" Kibum asked.

"It's from Heechul. He said he needs to meet with me to talk about Eeteuk. Do you think he's mad at me, Kibum?"

"Eeteuk? He doesn't strike me was someone who gets angry very easy."

"But I really hurt him."

"Maybe you should meet up with Heechul and him then. In least with your friend present, there might not be any real trouble between you. Did he leave an address?"

Donghae nodded.

"I need to stay a little longer to get instructions from the doctor. You two could grab a cab and meet up with both of them."

"Are you sure it's okay?"

"It'll be fine."

"Thanks, Kibum."

The man patted Donghae's leg lightly.

"I'm guessing those two are about finished speaking. Why don't we check in with them? Ryeowook will need some rest soon."

Donghae stood with Kibum and followed the man back to Ryeowook's room.

Hankyung still remained on his knees in front of Ryeowook. The young, small man had requested that Donghae and Kibum leave them for a few minutes to speak quietly. The duo had slipped out the door and Hankyung's sharp hearing could make out their footsteps disappearing down the hallway.

"He's very good for you, Hangeng." Ryeowook said suddenly.

The white haired man looked up at his surrogate brother. His large brown eyes gazed kindly at the elder adopted sibling.

"You're in love, aren't you?"

Hankyung felt a blush creep across his nose. He coughed slightly, trying to ride off the nervousness. Ryeowook's gentle, strained laugh caught the Chinese man's attention. He gave a barely there, shy smile.

"Is it bad?" Hankyung questioned.

"What would be bad about it?"

"That he's not Siwon?"

Ryeowook looked thoughtfully at the taller man. He placed his hands on both of Hankyung's cheeks, framing his face carefully.

"Siwon will always be with you, Hannieah. But he's moved on, even if it was before his time. I'll be moving on soon too."

The words were a painful reminder of time lost for Hankyung. The urge for revenge seemed to wane just a little when he thought of all the moments he could have spent with Ryeowook. But that was in the past and Hankyung was slowly learning he had to look to the future.

"You have a new name, a new chance to live and Donghae is part of that. You've let him in, don't shut him out ever, Hangeng. So few of us get to try again and I want you to value every moment you have with him."

Hankyung nodded, his white hair brushing his face lightly. He covered Ryewook's hands with his and squeezed carefully.

"I'm so scared, Ryeowook."

"Of what?" the young man asked.

"What if what happened to Siwon happens to Donghae too? I couldn't bear that loss again."

Ryeowook leaned forward and rested their foreheads together. He spoke in a voice that always seemed a little too mature for his age. But he was wise well beyond his years.

"Life is full of comings and goings, Hangeng. But if we only focus on the goings, we'll never know when the coming has already passed us by."

The young man proved once again why he seemed such a prophetic force in Hankyung's life.

"Thank you." the white haired man whispered quietly.

"Remember, no matter what, Siwon and I will always be with. But Donghae is the here and now. Love him as freely and purely as you loved Siwon. He would have wanted it that way."

"I love you so much, little brother."

"I love you too, hyung."

The two shared a mere brush of lips over each other's cheeks. Wounds that once seemed too deep in Hankyung were slowly mending together. Bridges were forming where walls once existed and the water rocked back and forth quietly in his soul.

The barest knock on the door drew their attention. Kibum and Donghae slipped inside. Ryeowook's warm smile lit up the room as he eased back. His eyes were growing heavy and his breathing was a bit more labored than usual.

"Bummieah, I'm afraid I'm getting tired." Ryeowook whispered and then coughed.

The hum of the oxygen machine seemed exceptionally loud to Hankyung at that moment. He stood from his knees carefully and offered his hand to Ryeowook. The small youth took it and stood with a measured amount of strength. Kibum then walked forward and took over, easing his friend into bed. The dark haired man guided Ryeowook's legs upwards and tucked them underneath the sheet. The IV was secured over his head. Kibum took a moment to wheel the machine closer. Ryeowook's beautiful eyelashes had already fluttered closed. His breathing slowed indicating he had drifted already off to sleep.

Donghae moved to Hankyung. The white haired man's face looked troubled for a few moments. He then turned to look at his smaller companion. Hankyung reached out his hand and freely took Donghae's. The simple act surprised the young man. He smiled suddenly and Hankyung actually gave a real smile back.

"I need to stay and speak with the doctors." Kibum said very softly.

"We'll call a cab." Hankyung said quietly. Kibum seemed surprised.

"I can call Junsu's car."

"It's okay, it'll keep you out of trouble then. Are you going to be okay, though?" Donghae asked.

"Yah, I'll be fine. Go on, you have somewhere you need to be."

"Where is that?" Hankyung inquired quietly.

"Um, Heechul sent me a text message. He wants to meet with me about Eeteuk."

The Chinese man gave a grim nod, wondering exactly how the meeting would go. Kibum shooed the two out of the room. Hankyung paused at the door briefly. He watched Kibum sit down beside the sleeping Ryeowook. The man took the other's hand and held it tightly between both of his. Hankyung knew then the two were meant only for each other.

The duo walked silently down the corridor. They moved past the overpowering smell of hospital supplies and overcooked food, seeking refuge in the elevator. The doors hissed shut, leaving the two men to listen to the irritating music floating above their heads. Hankyung finally broke the silence.

"Remember when I spoke to you in Mandarin?"

"Do you want to know what I said?"

Donghae looked at Hankyung with wide eyed, innocent curiosity. The taller man realized at that moment how enchanted he was by the youth. He opened his mouth to tell him the meaning when the elevator came to a hault. The doors opened and the twosome had to push to the side as three doctors and a visitor carrying an unsually large plant crammed in. The conversation was lost to them both as quickly as it had begun.

They finally reached the lobby and scurried out past the annoying plant leaves that were sticking almost in Donghae's eye. Outside, the parking lot was buzzing with vehicles, water and rain sloshing over the curb. Donghae held out his hand and hailed a taxi. He opened the door and looked at Hankyung. The man had an unreadable expression on his face, but Donghae could sense his tension.

"I haven't ridden in a cab since that night."

Donghae looked very awkward and pushed his foot into the ground. He swallowed the lump that formed in his throat. The rain was beginning to soak through his loose shirt he was wearing. He felt Hankyung's hand rest on his shoulder and ease him inside the vehicle. The white haired man slid in with him and then put his arm around Donghae, pulling him close. The tense sensation seemed to melt away from the taller man's frame. A feeling of elation replaced Donghae's doubt. He knew that Kibum was right. He may not be part of Hangeng, but he was definitely part of Hankyung.

"Maybe you should check in with Junsu." Donghae said softly. "I think I probably should speak to Eeteuk on my own."

Hankyung's eyes narrowed slightly. Donghae couldn't help but smirk.

"I'll be fine, I promise." Donghae stated. "Heechul will be there to mediate."

"I don't know. What happens if he sweeps you off your feet and then I have to come chasing after you?"

"Did you just make another joke?"

Hankyung gave Donghae another real smile. The young man felt his heart flutter slightly. The cab driver made an impatient sound.

"Um, sorry! Could you drop my friend off at his address?" Donghae told the driver Junsu's address. "And then could you take me to this address? I'll pay well."

After Donghae told the driver the new address, the man nodded and pulled out. The young man felt Hankyung draw him back against him. The warmth of his body made him feel incredibly safe.

"The thing you were going to tell me in the elevator. The Mandarin. What was it?"

"Ah yes. I'll tell you when we're alone again."

Donghae gave the most precious pout. Hankyung found he couldn't help but kiss the young man's lips. The cabbie raised an eyebrow at the amourous duo and continued to drive, chuckling to himself over the silliness of youth. No one noticed the elegant black car following closely behind them.

Thank you so much for those kinds words! I promise that Shindong didn't die, he just got shot through the foot. (And though painful, as far as I know, isn't fatal.)

I love KiWook, there isn't enough of it to go around. =;.;=

The Mandarin words will be revealed soon enough, but they are very significant, especially to Hannieah. (And thanks for writing those words in your journal, I feel honored!)

Can't give any hints away, but more will be revealed soon and loose ends will be tied up!

Thank you! I feel bad that I seem to make everyone cry with this fic. =O.o= I promise Shindong is okay. He just got shot through the foot, which won't kill him, just hurts REALLY bad.

Unfortunately, I wish I could say there wasn't going to be more death, but there will be. Just can't say who!

Update in a few more days!

the yeteuk was so <333 but what's going to happen to them now? *gasp*
May. 6th, 2008 11:25 am (UTC)
Thank you! I love the YeTeuk here too. It seems very real to me since they have such a past history together. More will be revealed soon!

Arhg, i'm so scared. i wonder what the mandarin was...may be wo ai ni?--Hankyung knew then the two were meant only for each other.--i love this line, it's so poetic and romantic. to tell you the truth tho, i only read the hanhae part, hehehhh.

Re: Hangeng4ever
Thank you for continuing to read! The Mandarin will come up soon, and it's very important to Hannieah.

Another update in a few more days!

ooooooo, awesome update...besides the part where the whole story is a little thick right now...as in, very thick.
So, what's gonna happen to both Eeteuk and Donghae?? This is getting really exciting! I can't wait for the next chapter, so please do update sooooon <3
May. 6th, 2008 11:28 am (UTC)
Thank you! Fortunately, the storyline is going to start tying completely together, so hopefully it'll be little less difficult to follow substories. I appreciate your continued support of my work!

Can't say what's going to happen, but there's going to be a few more surprises, I promise!
May. 3rd, 2008 06:51 am (UTC)
ah, you can't do this to your reader!!
haha, who's following?
I have so may question now but I'm going to be a good girl...
sit patiently and wait for the next update...
but still, i think hankyung should follow donghae....
i have a bad feeling for this...

this chapter trigger much more anticipation for the next one...
can't wait for more!!

Thank you so much for your continued support of my fiction, that means so much to me!

I wish I could reveal who's following, but that would spoil the surprise! I promise another update in a few days which will start tying more ends together!

Thank you so much! I appreciate all the kind words you always leave for me! =^^=

I promise that Shindong is going to be all right, though a foot wound is painful, it's not deadly. Heechul will be there to take care of him too, so that's the important part!

Why isn't there more KiWook in this world? =;.;=

I love that line you quoted too, it seems like something Kibum would say in his quiet wisdom.

New update in a few more days!

:O Oh oh OH. SHINDONG. HEECHUL. That part nearly broke my heart. In a good way mind you.

I loved the interaction between Hankyung and Ryeowook. It was so sweet and real. I can't wait to see what happens when they all meet up.
May. 6th, 2008 11:35 am (UTC)
Thank you so much! I actually had you in mind when I was writing the ShinChul, so I'm very happy that you enjoyed that part.

I hope that the next chapter is worth the wait and thank you so much for continuing to read my work!

I am so impatient! New chapter sooooooon <3 ^.^
May. 6th, 2008 11:36 am (UTC)
Thank you so much for reading! There should be a new update in another few days, I hope it's worth the wait!
May. 3rd, 2008 11:01 pm (UTC)
NOO!! Why didn't Shindong just shoot him when he had the chance??!!! Aw cuz he's too good a person. I wonder if he's okay. O.o

"Love him as freely and purely as you loved Siwon." -DIES- This story is getting a little too good. I'm gonna have to ask you to insert some generic crappyness at some point to settle my nerves and restore the order of the world plz, thx ;)

Your work hours are outrageous; hopefully that snow will melt soon and you get plenty of rest! Good luck with your sewing, it's really inspiring how you keep such a positive outlook on everything. <33

Thank you so much for continuing to follow the storyline! I hope my next update in a few more days is worth the wait!

I promise that Shindong will be okay. Though the wound in his foot is painful, as far as I know, it's not fatal. He'll just be limping for a while, I'm sure. But Heechul will be there to take care of him. (And have a vendetta against the masked person for wounding his Shinnieah, I'm sure.)

::chuckles:: I wish I could calm your nerves for the next few chapters, but it's just going to get more whirlwind! XD

Thanks for the kind words too on my sewing! I'll have some progress pics posted in a little while. My Korean traditional vest should be done in the next few days. ::crosses fingers::

......why do I have this nagging feeling that I know who the assasin is? For some reason, my mind has come up with it being Yunho or Jaejoong.....

Anywho, I really can't tell you enough how much I love this story. It made the end of my weekend so much more enjoyable.

;_; On no!!! Please don't kill Hae. I don't want Hankyung to cry again >.< I can't wait to read the next chapter. Update soon please XD
May. 6th, 2008 11:40 am (UTC)
Thank you for continuing to read! I can't give away who the new hitman is, but both of those are very good guesses!

I'm glad my little piece of fiction made your weekend just go a little nicer, that makes me very happy!

There will be another update in a few more days. Hope it's worth the wait!

Thank you so much for those kind words! The hitman is really scary, isn't he? (And creepy, definitely creepy.)

Shindong will be fine fortunately, the bullet just went through his foot. He'll have Heechul to take care of him, so we know he'll get well babied! XD

What Hannieah keeps saying to Hae will come out soon. It's very important to him!
